"Stratford's premier scare attraction where all your screams really will come true..."
Situated over three floors in what is reputed to be one of the most haunted buildings in the country, The Creaky Cauldron, "The Wyrd Museum" is Stratford's most magical, most exciting and most unusual tourist attraction. Complete with magical room settings and an enchanting yet educational experience, the Wryd Museum is without doubt one of Stratford's "Must Visit" attractions.
Remember, that this is an old building and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues or those afraid of the dark! The three floors house the following exhibits:
*The Great Hall and Henley Street Theatre *The Witches Apothecary *The Haunted Chamber at Bombay Manor *The Nursery *The Haunted Toy Shoppe and Witches Garden *The Enchanted Forest *The Priest Hole *The Halloween Graveyard and Haunted Chapel
The three storey half timbered building has been part of the Stratford skyline for over 400 years and is steeped in history. Mentioned both by Harriet Beecher Stowe and Rupert Graves, the Creaky Cauldron is now the only remaining section of the famous White Lion Inn that still stands. Without doubt the building will have seen many local characters pass through its doors including one John Shakespeare celebrating the birth of his son William with a flagon of ale!
