How to get to Stratford To drive from London: Take the M40 motorway to Junction 15 and follow signs. Time approx: 2 hours. The Creaky Cauldron is approximately 20 minutes from Junction 15.
By train from London: There are several direct trains daily from Londons Marylebone Station. Time approx: 2.5 hours. It is possible, to see a matinee at the Courtyard Theatre and get back to London by train.
By train from Birmingham: There is an excellent and regular service from Birmingham Snow Hill and Birmingham Moor Street which means you can just pop across for some shopping!
By Coach from London: National Express Coaches run several trips a day between London Victoria and Stratford-upon-Avon. Time approx: 3 hours depending on traffic.
By Coach from Birmingham: There are two National Express coaches a day from Digbeth - but the bus service is much more regular!

The Park and Ride * FREE return journey into Stratford on the shuttle bus if you depart from the Park & Ride before 9.00am Thereafter, the cost is £1.30 per adult and children are free. For information call 01564 797070
* 3-monthly season tickets cost £50 per passenger (equivalent to 55p per day)
* Gates open at 7.30am and the 10 minute shuttle bus operates from 8.00am to 7.00pm and there are over 700 car parking spaces.
* The shuttle bus stops in both Wood Street (return boarding outside Cafe Uno) & Bridge Street (return boarding outside McDonalds)
* The Park and Ride site is located just off the A46, next to the Bishopton Roundabout, readily accessible from the M40, the A3400 from Birmingham and the A422 from Alcester

Car Parks Stratford-upon-Avon has 8 District Council Car Parks with over 2,800 parking spaces; there is also an NCP Car Park on Rother Street with 256 spaces and the Civic Hall Car Park on Rother Street with 52 spaces. (which is a Pay & Display that is open 24 hours). Two of the towns car parks , Bridgefoot multi-storey and the adjacent Unicorn Meadow are barrier controlled Pay on Foot, which means you must take a ticket on entering the car park, retain it, and pay the required fee before collecting your car.
Parking is also available at the Cricket Club (This is Pay & Display); and at the Marina near the Holiday Inn Bridgefoot. (Pay & Display). All the car parks are conveniently situated (within 10 minutes walk) for all amenities and shopping.
There are signs on all approach roads and throughout the town to guide you to the car parks.

On Street Parking If you decide to park "on street" then you are required to take a ticket from the on-street Pay & Display machines. The parking fees and parking time varies depending where you park.
We recommend you consult the signs and parking machines before leaving your car to shop - and take care - the Parking Attendants in Stratfford are extremenly zealous!

Shopmobility The Shopmobility unit is located in Bridgefoot car park, near the Tourist Information office. This is a free service which provides powered scooters and wheelchairs for hire. Whether its long term or short term, for holidays, visitors, residents or those with temporary injuries, Shopmobility can help you to make the most of your time in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The opening hours are 09.00am until 4.00pm on Tuesdays to Saturdays and 10.00am until 3.00pm on Mondays. If possible, please book in advance to ensure that a scooter or chair is available and to reserve a parking space. This can be done by calling into the Shopmobility unit or by telephoning 01789 414534.
